The Finest in Firearm Reproductions of the Old West

Awhile back, I posted that I had a good experience purchasing a set of 5.5" GW II in 45LC with the deluxe nickel finish. I also posted at that time that I would follow up with a report on how they handle and function.

For those who known me, I always do two things to a new set of cowboy guns -                 1) A Cody Conagher action job                                                                                      2) have them fitted with elk horn grips by Ken Elliott of Arizona

Last Saturday (08/16), I finally got around to shooting these little beauties. And I couldn't be happier.

From 20 feet, using 2 200 grain bullet over 4.8 grains of Clay I got a 2" group for 5 shots. The beauty of it was these were point of aim with no alteration of the front sights (no dermal tool here!). And both pistols shot exactly the same. Now that is weird!!!!

I'm not saying you will have the same experience, but I am definitely one happy camper. Thanks EMF!
