Review: I've had this .45 for about 4 months now and have had time to shoot it and look it over while cleaning it. I'm definitely impressed with the quality and would no doubt purchase another if the need ever comes up.

Review: Awesome Company to work with. I'm a local FFL and I ordered the Californian for my client.. and I was WOW'd when I opened the box. The quality and workmanship is superior. Beautiful gun ... then you add AMAZING customer service. WIN WIN for both client and I .. and am in fact ordering another one as I type. Thanks for everything!

"Exceeded expectations"

Review: I picked my Californian up yesterday and have to say the build quality exceeded my expectations. The cylinder is very tight, no slop at all on any chamber with the hammer up or down. It took me a little bit to get familiar with the first click rest position which can happen when manually lowering the hammer, but once I figured that out(it's a design feature) the action has been perfect. The grip is very flush with the metal, there are no raised points that will dig into your hand. The action is smooth and not rough in any way. The trigger is excellent and beats all of my modern Rugers easily. The loading gate is also very solid and completely flush with the frame metal. The clicks and snicks the gun makes when spinning the cylinder and working the hammer is responsive and, frankly, addictive. This is my first gun of this design(though I own a 1858) and I can understand now why people love them.

"Owner of a Dakota since 1980s"

Review: Ive owned a Dakota with walnut grips since late 1980s. I worked at a gun store just down near Santa Ana. And picked up a Dakota model and used it in the SASS competitions for 12 years. I've never had to replace a part and it's still going strong and smooth as ever. I'm looking to have it engraved and pass it on to my grandchildren.
