Review: First gun, but I can't say I'm not surprised. The first shooting test I forgot to break the gun in and shoot the percussion caps to empty the cylinder, and my dad loaded it (on second thought I should've because that was a disaster). So take safety precautions and be sure you know what you're doing before shooting.. or at least, if you do, load it yourself lol (25 g triple 7) From 15 feet, I was able to land every shot except one on a soda can. The gun is surprisingly accurate, well balanced, easy to handle, not much recoil, but man is it loud! The parts are well made, the assembly is easy (though the wedge has a tough spring). The hammer and cylinder function well and always align perfectly. Packing the ball doesn't take much force and the rod is smooth but also locks firmly in place. The pamphlet that comes with doesn't have any information on the percussion caps to use, though I'm sure that applies to most black powder guns. However, it does give a lot of information about black powder revolvers. I can't say much else besides this gun is aesthetically pleasing, fun to shoot, is great for any person on the handling, not sure about the reliability of all the factory parts yet, and will require some cleaning because the black powder will cause a lot of surface rust in the cylinder after a couple of shots and a few hours. Also the ship engravings and waves on the cylinder are nice as well as the blue. Comes packaged as shown ^ Would definitely recommend.
