Review: Shipped on time. Well packaged. Perfect box. Perfect engraving with somewhat smooth texture. The blue is rich, with only the very slightest rub mark. My machinist sargent son gave it a thorough inspection. A light schotchbrite around forcing cone in and out to smooth the barely discernable sharp edges. The ramp to rifling is gentle, but not polished. For a man that makes barrels, the nod said it all! The beautiful walnut grips are well finished. Only a tiny bit proud at the front lower corners. The muzzle has a nice slight rounded chamfered edge. The timing is perfect. Not the slightest bit of drag marks . It came cleaned, with just the slightest bit of evidence of a 6 round firing. The cylinder gap just slips by a new one dollar bill. Just be warned: The trigger pull is so smooth and light that it brings a big smile to the sarge! Be aware of the trigger finger! Cocking is firm enough to pop a cap! The sight picture is very fine. Make sure to scrub them very well as fine little bits of metal may be here and there. Fine balance! Brass frames are not magnums, as the artist wife says they are just fine at 21 yards to protect the barn yard! Be safe, be happy, be aware kidderidders! Well worth buying for display, fun, or defending the homestead!

Review: Bought as a gift for an Army officer, PCS'ing. Looks great in a display case. Haven't shot it but seems as well built as my black powders I shoot.

Review: This 1851 Navy Brass Engraved is absolutely beautiful. The detail in the engraving is top notch. I swear it’s almost too nice to shoot. If your considering getting this gun then do it. I promise you won’t be disappointed. As far as the company itself EMF is a quality top notch company. It was my first time buying from them and I couldn’t be happier with how it all went. From now on if I’m buying a black powder gun I’m buying it from EMF they are the best of the best.

Review: This is the most beautifully Engraved (gun & Cylinder) blackpowder Revolver I have ever seen. Most mass-produced Engraved guns, are either too lightly engraved as to be very poorly seen OR acid-etched and look awful. This is beautifully engraved, deep and clearly seen. Oh, and yes... the .44 Revolver loads & shoots great!
