Review: The Pietta transfer bar cylinder pin is larger than the .45 acp cylinder center hole. Not a big deal. You'll need a .2525 inch reamer then the stock pin will work with the 45lc and 45 acp cylinder. Otherwise, it looks dimensionally the same.

Review: I was impressed with the communication I received when I placed my order for the cylinder for my Pietta Frontier Cimarron 1873. I wasn't sure how I felt about it being non fluted but decided it would be easy to tell it from the .45 LC fluted cylinder, but when I got it and saw the bluing and installed it into the gun, I was amazed how well I liked the look. It is a beautiful, quality made piece. It fits perfect and has a smooth operation spin on the half cock loading position and the timing is perfect on all 4 clicks. I haven't had a chance to shoot yet, but I am sure it will work as good as it looks. It is so nice to see quality like this at a reasonable price during times like we have now. Thanks, and keep up the good work.

Review: The cylinder dropped easily into my gun. The action works perfectly and performs as it should. I like the unfluted blued finish that looks great when it's installed.

Review: I had a .45 LC Pietta already.I ordered an extra .45 ACP cylinder for it so I could dual use the pistol. When the part arrived I test fitted it. It went right into the pistol without any trouble and indexed perfectly. It spins freely and headspaced without any issues. I now can shoot both .45LC and ACP from the 1 gun. Very glad I got it.

Review: Nice quality acp cylinder for my SAA. It popped right in and has a great finish. Shipping was fast and a great price. My single complaint is that it is not what was pictured on the web site. My Pietta came with a 45 colt with an unfluted cylinder. The cylinder Shown in the picture at emf was fluted. Great way to tell the two apart! The cylinder I received was also unfluted. I might have ordered it anyway but I wish I had known. If so it is my fault. Still wish it was fluted. I hope this helps someone else.

Review: I bought this .45ACP cylinder to increase versatility affordability when shooting my Pietta Gunfighter .45 Colt GW2 revolver. It is simply Beautiful! I have not yet taken it to the range and shot it, but I can say it fit right in and cycles as it should.
