Kentucky Flintlock Rifle

Kentucky Flintlock Rifle

These rifles, and others like them, evolved from the German's Jaeger hunting rifles and were a major rival of the British Brown Bess muskets during the War of Independence. These were the rifles of the American colonies, their light weight and accuracy made them ideal carry guns. They were the most popular rifle of their time.

These flintlock rifles have an adjustable front sight, casehardened frame, patch box, blue octagonal barrel, polished brass fitting and walnut stock.
