Review: I ordered the 1851 Captain Schaeffer .36 4 revolver on Wednesday 5-15-19, got a call the next day ( Thursday 5-16-19 ) from customer service to confirm my order and select my shipping ( I chose UPS ground from Calif. to Utah ) and I received an email confirmation a little later that my revolver was being shipped and scheduled to arrive on Monday 5-20-18. I received a UPS notice later on Thursday saying that it would be delivered on Saturday 5-18-19. My revolver arrived at 11:00 am on Saturday, it looks outstanding and I could not be happier with the product of the customer service !!!!

Review: The Captain Schaeffer revolver is a reproduction Colt 1851 Navy revolver, presentation grade, made by Pietta in Italy. It is a limited production, laser engraved,.36 caliber percussion revolver. The gun is in the white with polymer grips intended to simulate ivory. The barrel is 4 inches long, unusually short for a '51 Navy and as a result it has loading lever that looks good, but serves no practical purpose, It is too short to be of any use. A very nice looking gun and the only firearms that I own that I will never shoot. This gun is an instant collectible. I thank EMF for prompt efficient service

Review: This is a beautiful revolver, the fit and finish are great and it functions perfectly. I couldn't ask for anything more and the engraving really set this gun off and takes it to the next level. I'm glad I was able to purchase it. Thank you guys at EMF. Review: I received as promised with the NY met both will not be fired these are perfect for getting them in cases with Flask, mold etc. I have fired both earlier but those 2 are being kept for the range, these are for trhe Craft Area. Thank you very much.

Review: Two minor problems so far, trouble removing nipples, one still a problem, also pin holding lever latch spring almost feel out. Put a little lock-tite on it, should hold for now. Haven't shot it yet. Very nice looking. Hope it works out!! A nice customer service lady called to say the company had seen my comments and check on me and the gun. She reminded me that the manufacturer's warranty is one year and said to give her a call if I have any other problems.
