Review: Finding EF as a source for purchasing spare cylinders for a classic black powder revolver resolved the issue. The difficulty was in the ordering process. The order went into a fault in the last step (twice). Sending the error code to EMF followed up with the completion of the order. Delivery was rapid and complete. EF is a good source, but the order process may have a glitch.

Review: EMF customer service jjust raised the bar. I was trying to find a Pietta 36 cal cylinder without engraving for a Griswald & Gunnison. I called customer service and actually got polite well informed real people. After some conversation we discovered the photo on the site was wrong. They went back picked the part and assured it was the correct one. I put in an order for the cylinder and some other parts i needed. I have 15 pistols and purposely buy ones that need repair. Review: Great factory cylinder. Fit prefect, great timing. Originally ordered the engraved cylinder, but was informed that it was not in stock, by email. Was given an option to place it on backorder or go with the non engraved cylinder. After making the choose I received it promptly.

Review: A beautiful cylinder which dropped right into the revolver. I used this one to replace an older one on a gun made decades ago which the previous owner had neglected to clean properly. Shipping via USPS took two days. The plain (Not Engraved) look adds another dimension to the revolver.
