Review: Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, but the fit and finish on the gun I received is fantastic! This is my 3rd Pietta and definitely not my last.

Review: I bought this beauty for the unbelievable low price. The finish is beautiful (accept that the hammer is black and not case color hardened). However I had to do a lot of work to make this shooter ready. I had to hone out the arbor slot in barrel assembly due to the arbor being completely stuck. I had to sand down the loader rod removing case color because the ramming rod was way to tight. The hammer is off set by 1k inch on the left side causing the hammer to catch on the recoil sheild. Review: Some styles are timeless and such is the case with the 1860 Colt. This gun looks as good now as it did when it was built in the 19th century. This Pietta is a beautiful piece!
