Review: I am very, very pleased with this new 1851. It functions very well, shoots great, and there is no roughness anywhere in the action. Trigger pull is very good. It shoots a little high but is centered windage wise. I honestly did not believe one could buy a revolver this nice for this little money!

Review: My revolver arrived and I cleaned and prepped it for shooting. After 5 shots I was going to clean it again. The finish on the barrel had already started to flake off and the block holding the barrel and cylinder together was very hard to remove. Not very impressed with this item, but as I've used it a few more times I guess it will at least be a good conversation piece.

Review: So it is a beautiful gun. There were a few very slight imperfections with the fit of the grip to the frame being a little proud, but easily fixed with a sharp blade. Timing is very good, trigger is fantastic. One complaint. This is a 'budget' version of the 1851, and you can tell in the screws. They are VERY soft and will strip easily, so order a better set. Also, springs should be replaced with the Wolff set. Cheap money and makes the gun 100%. Will def buy another. Very attractive gun.

Review: I bought this revolver to replace an old one by Euroarms purchased in the 1970s. The finish, fit and function of this Pietta revolver seems to be far superior to the old Euroarms pistol. EMF was great to order from. Service was efficient and friendly.

Review: First ever cap and ball pistol and I'm glad I purchased it from EMF. There customer service is by far the best I've ever dealt with. The revolver is beautiful and it came really fast!. Haven't shot it yet but so far EMF is going to be my go-to for everything cap and ball.

I'll simply say that given how swamped the entire firearms industry has been throughout 2020 and 2021, Debbie was extremely helpful and friendly, and went above and beyond to help me. As a company EMF is top notch. As for the gun itself, it's beautiful, the fit and finish is very good. Frankly for the price point I'm amazed they can offer anything even remotely this nice. Pulled it apart down to the last screw and went over it all, a few little rough spots internally but nowhere that will be seen and nothing that effects function so I don't see any problem there. Cleaned, lubed and put it back together, fired a full eight cylinders (48 shots) without so much as a hiccough. In summation I highly recommend EMF, good products, good prices, and most importantly of all, good service.

Review: Beautiful gun. Very nice to look at and appears well made. I ordered it on March 31 and it was back ordered but was shipped April 25 an I got it today April 28. Price was great.

Review: Not only is my grandfather a corncob eating old fud, he's also a civil war buff and seeing me whip this thing out brought him a good amount of joy. Haven't shot the thing yet because ammo is a little difficult to come by where I live.
