Review: The 1858 Remington Sheriff is an Amazing piece of American history, for years many of our Ancestors back in the civil war up to the famous Wild west era have used this firearm many times saving many good men's lives, Especially for Men of the law keeping America save. I would like to thank EMF company for keeping American history and culture alive all these years, thank you and God bless America.

Review: First let me say that the EMF employees are some of the nicest,most helpful, accommodating and knowledgeable about their products that I have ever done business with. It's ALWAYS a pleasure to do do business with them. As far as the 1858 Remington as always it arrived very promptly. Actually sooner than expected. The revolver ,like all the others I have ordered from them is beautiful. Fit and finish is very good. Haven't shot it yet as I only received it yesterday, however I've no doubt it will perform flawlessly as all the others I have purchased from them.

Review: I just opened the box and this is just the pistol I wanted, fits hand very well, fit and finish is very good, looks and feels very solid. I will not be able to fire it for a couple of weeks, I have no doubt it will preform.

Review: Outstanding quality in this firearm. Beautiful blueing and manufacture. Shoots well and is accurate.

Review: Timing is good, few imperfections in finish. The only gripe I have is one I won’t dock points for, since it’s related to the design and not the workmanship. Anyone who has experience with these understands the safety aspects (loading 5, or filing the safety notches so the hammer will fully seat in them). The main drawback I see with this design is that you need to look into the action to be 100% certain that you are placing the hammer on the empty chamber or a filed safety notch. Inexperienced users please take note of this. It may be an old design, but it is more than capable of seriously injuring or killing you or those around you. Be safe, and educate yourself on the piece.

Review: About as nice as I could have hoped for. Beautiful to look at, smooth to operate, and excellent fit. The fact that they had a gunsmith check to make sure the extra cylinder fit properly showed how customer oriented they are. Look forward to doing business with E.M.F. again.
