Review: This is an absolutely beautiful replica 1858 Remington. The quality is incredible. The weight of the gun, and the construction both feel super solid. I haven't shot it yet, but it appears to function just as well as it looks. One of the best black powder pistols available on the market.

Review: This is a good $200 or more less than any other company selling this exact same pistol. I originally bought one from sportsman's guide and dealt with their horrible customer service for over a month trying to get a refund when I never even took possession of the gun. Left a review on their site and what happened? They refused to post it. Maybe I'll post it here to warn everybody stay away from sportsman's guide. _________

Review: I had never purchased a PIETTA replica, despite knowing the previous reputation of Italian and Spanish replicas, however after the product arrived, I just loved it. I will definitely buy more PIETTA replicas and maybe try some UBERTI, I am tempted to buy two colts, 1851 and 1861, but first I will invest in REMINGTONS, simply the best. By the way, EMF people are to be congratulated for the attention and good services, I love the virtual store and the format of the website, I hope that soon the stainless steel replicas will be available again ???
