Review: Beautiful work of art. I plan to change the grips straight away with black horn grips. I don't know who at Pietta thought those white grips were a good idea, but overall this is a beautiful pistol. Well worth the money. Don't get hung up on the white plastic grips, for me, I prefer horn, or bone grips. However the grips on this pistol are fine, fitting could have been better, but they work. That's my honest opinion. I would purchase again no question.

Review: I have been buying these Pietta revolvers now for thirty years. Bought in gun stores, all over online, etc. Do not buy this gun for the grip. For as nice as the rest of this revolver is, the grip is the cheapest piece of hollow plastic toy gun grips that nobody even tried to check the fit of. I've never ever had a Pietta grip fit this poorly. And did I mention it is hollow? Therefore trying to sand them to fit is impossible. If anything else was wrong with this gun I've been waiting over a year for, it would have gone back. I would expect this from Cabela's, but not a specialty outfit like EMF.

Review: Pietta’s laser engraving has gotten better and more convincing. Assembly quality is very good with a very impressive barrel-cylinder gap of only .002”. Typical crisp trigger. Now the disappointing part: The grip is absolute garbage! Not only does it overlap the grip frame by .050” all the way around, it’s not even solid - it flexes when you squeeze it! This hollow trash is what I would expect on something from Mattel and let’s down the overall product.
