Review: I got a replacement cylinder a few years back for a Uberti revolver and of course it needed to be fitted, so in ordering this I expected the same, in spite of earlier reviews. Shipped fast and it actually dropped right in and indexed perfectly! Fantastic!

Review: Nice quality acp cylinder for my SAA. It popped right in and has a great finish. Shipping was fast and a great price. My single complaint is that it is not what was pictured on the web site. My Pietta came with a 45 colt with an unfluted cylinder. The cylinder Shown in the picture at emf was fluted. Great way to tell the two apart! The cylinder I received was also unfluted. I might have ordered it anyway but I wish I had known. If so it is my fault. Still wish it was fluted. I hope this helps someone else.

Review: I bought this .45ACP cylinder to increase versatility affordability when shooting my Pietta Gunfighter .45 Colt GW2 revolver. It is simply Beautiful! I have not yet taken it to the range and shot it, but I can say it fit right in and cycles as it should.

Review: EMF is great. You actually talk to real people. The cylinder fit my Pietta Pistolero with no modifications. Lock up and timing is excellent. Non fluted cylinder looks tough and makes it easy to tell the difference 45 Colt and ACP. I will do all my business with EMF when possible.

Review: This is now installed in a Heritage 'Big Bore' 45. It did require about .003 of metal removal from the rear of the cylinder. This was easily accomplished with a Dremel wheel. Function is perfect.

Review: Outstanding quality and finish. As I am not a very mechanically inclined man I took the cylinder to my local gunsmith for fitting. So little polishing needed to be done I had it back in one day. Function is perfect. With the ammo famine it's nice to be able to shoot what's available.

Review: Ordered the 1873 GWII .45ACP Cylinders for a pair of .45 Colt Alchimista II's. Fit was excellent with very minor stoning of the front cylinder bushing necessary to spin freely in both guns. EMF customer service placing the order was also excellent as always.

Review: Recently order the 45 ACP cylinder for the Pietra series of 1873 SAA revolvers. This is a great alternative to the high cost of shooting the 45 Colt vs 45 ACP. The cost of this cylinder was paid for in the first 4 boxes of 45 ACP fired. Customer service was excellent and follow up on order was the best of any gun company to include both Cimarron FAC and Taylor and Co. EMF needs to convince Pietta to engrave some of these cylinders To match that of the Beautiful Gamblers Royale they sell.
